Lovejoy's Automotive Loves You and Your Car

There are times when you take that leap of faith and trust that you’re going to get a fair shake, and then realize afterward that you’ve been treated like royalty. That’s a good feeling. I had that feeling after my first encounter with Lovejoy's Automotive in Northglenn.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve had good experiences – and I’ve had some really bad experiences with auto repair shops. Yes, I’ve been “taken to the cleaners” a few times.

Let me get to the point about Lovejoy's Automotive. Snap On Tools is a company that runs around town, all across the nation, in these big panel vans full of tools. They visit virtually every auto repair shop known to man, selling those tools to mechanics. They are highly regarded throughout the industry. Of all the shops in town, Snap On Tools uses Lovejoy's Automotive to service their fleet. There can be no better testament to excellence than that.

However, there are plenty of other reasons to take your car to Lovejoy's Automotive. The owners are Kelly and Anita Lovejoy. Kelly has been working on cars for 28 years and has countless certifications as an ASE Certified Technician. He has worked as a machinist and engine builder and performed all levels of machine and assembly operations on stock and performance engines. She also has an extensive background in accounting, including: payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as customer service. Anita worked at the family business Rivera Auto Service in Lakewood Colorado almost from the time she could walk, until she met Kelly in 1990, and moved to Northglenn. At her family's business, Anita performed as bookkeeper and cashier, scheduled repairs for customers, ordered parts and made sure everyone was organized, and that the shop was clean. "I have been around the automotive repair business all my life, and know all too well what it is like to deal with a vehicle break-down" Anita explains. "Now that we operate our own business, we continue to keep our customers best interests in mind at all times by taking care of their complaints first, and never recommending anything that is not absolutely necessary."
